Hybrid gripper

The hybrid gripper combines the advantages of two gripping principles. Components are lifted out of the mold using a vacuum suction gripper. The suction grippers enable components to be removed from molds that are difficult to access. Once the workpiece has been lifted out of the mold, it is held securely and without energy by mechanical swivel arms, moved, and stacked on top of each other after an optical inspection.

The stacking height is up to 2.5 m. To compensate for the tolerances of components and pallets, the gripper can compensate for these in the alignment direction so that the components are stacked gently on top of each other. This means that the component and the robot are operated with low stress.
