Press-fitting – repeatable and cycle time-optimized

Press-fitting with the aid of a robot is a prime example of precise, repeatable, and force-controlled automation. Robots take over the powerful yet sensitive joining of components—such as the press-fitting of bolts, bushings, or bearings—with the highest precision. Using modern sensor technology, the robot can monitor the pressing process and react immediately to any deviations. The result: consistently high quality, reduced scrap rates, and a significant reduction in physically demanding tasks for operating personnel.

Application example: Rubber buffers

Sampas has developed an assembly system for the repeatable pressing in of rubber buffers. The system features an automatic feed, a pneumatic pressing device, and a robot for handling tasks. Quality control is performed by measuring the pressing depth.

Your benefits:

  • Cyclical execution
  • Quality assurance
through measurement of the press-in depth
  • Additional assembly process can be integrated
    (if parts handling is required)
  • High variety of types,
as the opposite position of the component can be approached flexibly by the robot
